Sat here on a Friday morning and shared a Kahvalti Tabaği (Breakfast Plate) and a hot Americano. It is big enough to share for two and their coffee has a nice almost candy-like aftertaste. It’s a relatively quiet area too from the bustling tourist area where you can watch the chef make flatbreads out of a wooden oven.

Nie polecam. Pan chętnie zawoła cię z ulicy ale potem zapomina,że istniejesz. Kawa rozwodniona. Omlet z fetą, może jeden kawałek był. Po wszystkim zostawiłem odliczoną gotówkę i wstałem. 6 osób obsługi zero zainteresowania

I don't recommend it. The guy will happily call you in off the street but then forget you exist. The coffee was watered down. The feta cheese omelet, maybe one slice. Afterward, I left the exact amount and got up. Six staff members, zero interest.

The food was average. We had to wait a long time despite the restaurant being almost empty, as we arrived very early in the morning. The drinks were not brought until after we had finished our breakfast, and when I tried to speak to the waiter about it, she simply walked away and left me talking.
The “fresh” orange juices were also disappointing, as they clearly came from a bottle and were not fresh at all. There was also a mistake with one of the breakfast orders, meaning one person had to wait considerably longer and ended up eating alone after everyone else had finished.
Overall, the experience was quite underwhelming and, compared with everything else we experienced in Istanbul, this was by far one of the most disappointing meals.- Öğün türü

Delicious Turkish breakfast with fresh ingredients; the cheese, honey, and tea were so yummy! Super filling for 1 person, especially with the bread. Friendly relaxed service, perfect for a peaceful breakfast. Good for any size group. I would recommend the Turkish breakfast or I would try the yogurt! Fair prices and lots of seating.

Came here two days in a row. First day I got the traditional Turkish breakfast and second day I got the eggs and granola bowl. Both were delicious. Highly recommend

Kahvaltısı özenli, kahvesi aromatik ve güçlü. Mekanın iç dekoru huzurlu ve davetkar. Olumsuz yönü, hafta sonları yer bulmak zor, rezervasyon şart. Ama kahvaltı keyfi ve genel atmosfer kesinlikle buna değer.

The breakfast is elaborate, and the coffee is aromatic and strong. The interior is peaceful and inviting. The downside is that finding a spot on weekends is difficult, and reservations are essential. But the breakfast and overall atmosphere are definitely worth it.

Very disappointing. Bread was cold, eggs were cold, boregi was too moist, all the cheeses fused into each other like they were packed on the plate on a different day. The feta and herb omelette is the only reason for the two stars because it was good but still cold.

Ich trinke täglich ein Cappuccino und war oft in Italien. Ich habe noch nie so einen Schlechten Cappuccino in meinem Leben getrunken. Dieses Glass an Beleidigung Italienischer Kultur sollte verboten werden, nicht nur das Sie jede Art eines Kaffees die wir gekauft haben, vermasselt haben. Haben sie es sogar geschafft die Chai zu vermasseln. Wie geht das ????
Das Essen war ok, aber wir haben eine Ewigkeit drauf gewartet und unser Brot war trocken, ungewürzt und geschmacklos. Wenn ihr mich fragt würde ich diesen Laden empfehlen dann würde ich sagen ganz klar NEIN!!!.
Ein Appell an alle, geht wo anders hin.

We had breakfast at Polkà this morning. We were tempted by the highly positive reviews. The atmosphere was good, which was unfortunately the only positive thing about this place. I drink a cappuccino every day and have been to Italy many times. I've never had such a bad cappuccino in my life. This glass of insult to Italian culture should be banned. Not only did they ruin every type of coffee we bought, but they even managed to ruin the chai. How is that possible???? The food was okay, but we waited forever for it, and our bread was dry, unseasoned, and tasteless. If you ask me, would I recommend this place? I would say a resounding NO!!! A plea to everyone: go somewhere else. Regards

I had such a good experience in Poika. I can only recommend you to go. They have various options for breakfast, and I chose the Turkish kahvalti which was extremely delicious. Great choice, excellent peynir, honey, eggs, bread, tea... The neighborhood is beautiful, and I appreciated the location of Poika, located in a quiet street. Thank you to Emir and the team at Poika.
